Compared to the rest of her Spice Girls clan, Mel C has kept a pretty low profile these past couple of years. So it was nice to see Sporty back on the showbiz radar once more as she drew the cameras attention while on holiday this weekend.
Miss Chisholm was snapped larking about with daughter Scarlet and partner Thomas Starr in the sea in Barbados. She laughed and chatted with property developer Starr as they played in the sea.
With a brightly-coloured swimming vest on, 23-month-old Scarlet clung on to her mother's back as Melanie, 36, took her in the Caribbean waters for a dip.
Starr then took over the parenting duties while Mel enjoyed the warm sea by herself, before heading back onto the sand to dry off and donning a straw hat for a stroll along the beach.
The family are enjoying the New Year break before heading back to the UK where Melanie will begin work on her fifth album.
