Geri Halliwell and boyfriend Henry Beckwith couldn't have looked happier as they cuddled up in the French Alps earlier this week.

The former Spice Girl appeared besotted with her beau as they leaned in for a hug before taking to the slopes to show off their skiing skills. At one point, Henry even used his girlfriend as a support, leaning on her back as he seemed to struggle to keep his balance on the snow.

The loved-up pictures of the pair enjoying a festive break are likely to spark more speculation that 2011 might see a wedding between Geri and Henry. It was rumoured last month that they might be considering tying the knot after Geri introduced her mother to Henry's parents at a musical in the West End.

A source said at the time: 'She was nervous but thought it would break the ice for them to see a show. They all had a great time and Geri was giddy with excitement.'

And as well as a potential wedding, 2011 holds a lot for Geri to look forward to, if rumours are to be believed.

The 38-year-old singer is apparently planning to launch her musical comeback with a single which is believed to be a beefed-up cover version of a classic track.

The single would be Geri's first release since 2005's album Passion, which was less than successful after reaching a miserable Number 41 that dropped out of the chart completely after just one week

Her first single from the album, Ride It, however managed to get to number four in the singles chart, though the second and last, Desire, only reached a disappointing 22.

Geri will also be launching a swimwear line for Next later this month. The range, aptly called Geri by Next, including bikinis, swimsuits and beach cover-ups, which range in price from around £18 to £50.

Talking about the range, Geri told MailOnline: 'It's about inspiring confidence with great looking swimwear for all body shapes.'
