Victoria Beckham has a surprising secret to happy marriage. She believes that absence makes the heart grow fonder, as Victoria Beckham thinks having a long-distance relationship keeps her marriage fresh.

The Spice Girls-star turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham - who is married to top sport totty David Beckham (yum) – said having a trans-Atlantic marriage stops the couple from drifting apart.

She said: "Maybe that's why we're not bored with each other after 11 years."

And Vicoria said she prefered being in the U.S. so she could be close to BFFs Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, who live nearby with their four-year-old daughter Suri.

Victoria – who has sons Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, eight, and five-year-old Cruz – said: ""Tom and Katie are really kind people – we'll have a more relaxed Sunday afternoon round at their place with all the kids than we would if we went round to some of the parents from school."
